This Privacy Policy explains how Openbridge LLC, doing business as localexpungements.com (“we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website, our free eligibility filter tool, and our optional attorney-contact features (collectively, the “Service”).

Openbridge LLC is an independent legal lead-matching service. We are not a law firm, we do not provide legal advice, and using the Service does not create an attorney-client relationship.

1. The Eligibility Filter Is Anonymous

The eligibility filter tool does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other information that identifies you. Your answers to the filter questions are used only to determine which result page to show you. Filter answers are not linked to your identity and are not sold, shared, or used to contact you.

2. Information You Choose to Provide

If your preliminary result indicates you may be eligible, you may voluntarily choose to request contact from an independent New Jersey attorney. Only if you make that request do we collect:

• Your name, email address, and mobile phone number.
• The general result category from your eligibility check (for example, the type of record you indicated), so your inquiry can be routed appropriately.
• Whether you separately opted in to receive occasional informational emails from us.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To forward your inquiry to a licensed, independent New Jersey attorney so they can contact you about your eligibility.
• To send you a confirmation that your request was received.
• If you separately opted in, to send you occasional informational emails about clearing New Jersey records. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any such email.
• To operate, secure, and improve the Service.

4. How We Share Your Information

• Independent attorneys. Inquiries you submit are forwarded to licensed, independent New Jersey attorneys in our network. Once forwarded, the attorney’s handling of your information is governed by their own practices and professional obligations, not by this policy.
• Service providers. We use third-party service providers to operate the Service, such as website hosting, form processing, email delivery, and contact management. These providers process information on our behalf and under our instructions.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Text Messages and Emails

If you check the SMS consent box when requesting contact, you provide express written consent for Openbridge LLC/localexpungements.com to send you an automated informational text message about the results of your eligibility check, and you authorize the participating law firm to contact you by phone call or text message at the number you provided regarding your New Jersey expungement evaluation. Checking that box is optional: you can submit the form without it, and your request will still be forwarded to a participating attorney. Message frequency may vary; typically 1–3 messages per inquiry. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of text messages at any time, or HELP for help. Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes; your number is shared only with the independent participating attorney handling the consultation you requested, and with the service providers that deliver our messages, as described in Section 4. We may also email you about your request; you can unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email or by contacting us at support@localexpungements.com.

6. Cookies and Analytics

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functionality and for aggregate, non-identifying analytics that help us understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

7. Data Retention

Anonymous eligibility filter answers are not retained in a form linked to you. Contact information you voluntarily submit is retained for as long as needed to fulfill your request and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your contact information at any time by emailing support@localexpungements.com.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information you provide. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Service is intended for adults age 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

10. Your Choices and Rights

You may access, correct, or request deletion of the personal information you provided to us by contacting support@localexpungements.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws; we will honor those rights as required.
